"CyberRush" Cybersecurity CTF Competition
Sahan Heshan and his team members, Anjula Achinthana and Yasisuru Viduruean, undergraduates specializing in Computer Science from the Faculty of Computing and Technology, achieved notable recognition by emerging as the 2nd Runners-up at the prestigious CyberRush Cybersecurity CTF competition.
The seven-hour live event, organized by the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at the University of Moratuwa, brought together top university teams from across the country to engage in a series of advanced cybersecurity challenges that simulated real-world attack and defense environments. This remarkable achievement reflects the team’s dedication, strategic problem-solving, and ability to perform effectively in high-pressure scenarios.
