Team Vertex Achieves 1st Runners-Up at IX 25

Team Vertex, a group of six Computer Science undergraduates from the University of Kelaniya, secured 1st Runners-Up at IX 25, Sri Lanka’s pioneering AI & XR Designathon. Now in its fifth edition, IX challenges participants to explore gesture-based spatial interfaces, wearable technology, self-generative UIs, and 3D interactivity, with a focus on innovation, practicality, and presentation skills.

The event, conducted in two research-oriented phases, attracted creative solutions from emerging tech enthusiasts nationwide. Team Vertex stood out for their innovative approach, teamwork, and ability to translate concepts into practical solutions, earning recognition among the top competitors.
