A team of nine talented Computer Science undergraduates from the Faculty of Computing and Technology secured the position of 2nd Runners-up at the prestigious Rootcode Tech-Triathlon 2025 for their exceptional performance. Competing as Team Vertex, they distinguished themselves among more than 1,100 participants representing over 170 teams from across the country.

The Tech-Triathlon—featuring a Designathon, Hackathon, and Datathon centered around the theme of Gov Tech—challenged participants to combine expertise in software engineering, artificial intelligence, and user experience design to build impactful, industry-ready solutions. Throughout these three demanding phases, Team Vertex demonstrated outstanding technical proficiency, problem-solving ability, and adaptability in fast-paced, high-pressure environments.

Securing a top-three position in a competition of this scale stands as a testament to their dedication, creativity, and the rigorous training they have undertaken as emerging innovators in the field.
