"TensorForge25" Inter University AI Buildathon

Team Xplorers emerged as the champions of TensorForge 2025 – AI Buildathon, organized by the IEEE Computer Society of General Sir John Kotelawala Defence University (KDU).

The team, consisting of K. Akila Fernando, W. Udasri Hasindu and K.M. Mavithya Mihirud all Computer Science undergraduates from the Faculty of Computing and Technology, showcased an innovative AI-driven solution that impressed the judges with its technical depth, creativity, and real-world relevance. Their first-place achievement reflects exceptional teamwork, creativity and technical expertise, bringing pride to the university and the faculty.
