Avishka Chanuka, a third-year student in the Faculty of Computing and Technology, has been selected to take part in Huawei's prestigious "Seeds for the Future" program, marking a proud occasion for our university. To develop young talent in the Information and Communication Technology (ICT) industry, this global project provides university students with an exceptional chance to interact with state-of-the-art technology, get leadership development, and engage in cross-border collaboration.
Six outstanding students from different universities in Sri Lanka have been chosen by the program to represent the nation this year. These sharp minds are going to go to China's Nanning and Shenzhen, where they will experience firsthand the newest developments in 5G, AI, cloud computing, and digital power technologies. The program promises practical instruction.
